Female Violet-Crowned Woodnymphs are 3 inches long. They build a cup-like nest on a branch, beneath a leaf. They lay two navy bean sized eggs and are solely responsible for the incubation and care of their young.

Prints have a one inch white border that includes the artist's signature and image number.
