Orchids, lookalike's and false orchids. Oh my!

Costa Rica is famous for its more than 1400 species of orchids

In our travels through its cloud forests, we have encounters many cultivated as well as wild orchids. All were grown outdoors and benefited from the ideal cool, damp climate.

Not being an orchid connoisseur and feeling overwhelmed by the, to me, countless varieties, I simply photographed them and am now hoping that you will help identify them.

I've labeled them all with letters, for easy reference. If you have any information about them, please leave a blog post or send us an email: info@focusfrog.com

Thank you!
